The standard extension cable for the encoder is model E69-DF5 (5m). The max. distance between the H8PS and the encoder is 100 m. So the max. length of the cable extension is 100 m. Please contact the Ayabe factory for special cables.
We do not recommend customers extending the cable themselves when using shielded cable because the joint area may not be shielded properly, or wires may be incorrectly connected.

However if customers insist on doing this, we advise using a cable of 100 mOHM/m, 170 PF/m max.
