As an example, if the sensing distance of the E4PA-LS400-M1 is set to 1 m, the following characteristics data shows that the spread of ultrasonic waves from the center of the Sensor is approximately 250 mm. This means that if there are objects within 250 mm, they will be detected. Leave ample space surrounding the Sensor. Place any object at least 375 mm away (1.5 times the minimum distance).
