In 1S Servo firmware v1.4, an absolute position consistency monitoring function was introduced for motors manufactured between December 2020 and August 2021.
In applications where the motor operates in incremental mode via a Sysmac Controller or another motion controller, this function may generate unnecessary alarms.
The issue can be resolved by disabling the alert function through the servo parameter settings.
Set the following parameter in the servo drive:
3000.04 — Basic Function Setting
Value: 1,073,741,825 (4000 0001Hex)
Then:
- Transfer parameters to the drive
- Reset the alarm
- Verify that the alert no longer occurs
