The K3MA-J is expecting a active signal on the input.
But what if the customer has a passive 4-20mA sensor?
It is possible to connect a passive 4-20mA sensor:
Connect 24VDC to the positive + of the sensor. Connect the negative - of the sensor to terminal E6 (this is the positive on the panel indicator). And connect the E5 (The common on the panel indicator) to the negative of the supply voltage (0V).
Please take in consideration that the input impedance on our indicator is quite low approx. 45 Ohm.
When the voltage is to high it may cause the input to get damaged. So make sure this is measured.
