There is a bug in NQ-Designer v1.3 software that affects the working of CX-One (v3x and V4x) when you uninstall NQ-Designer v1.3.
This problem exists only in NQ-Designer v1.3, and has been resolved and is not present if version 1.3i is currently installed.
NQ-Designer is, by default, installed in the: C:\Program Files\Omron\NQ-Designer folder. A similar folder also exists in the Windows registry.
When you uninstall NQ-Designer it should remove only the NQ-Designer folder, but in NQ-Designer v1.3 it will remove also registry entries that are used by CX-One software.
This has impact on all Omron software installed with licence (not shareware) like CX-One software package. As a result the complete CX-One software package can crash and not work anymore (missing licence).
Solution:
Replace the v1.3 installer with a new installer file. The new installer file will only remove the registry entries related to NQ-Designer. To do this run the EXE file attached in this article.
After installing the new installer you can only remove the NQ-Designer via the shortcut key in the program menu of Windows.
