Is There An Easy Way To Check Whether The Control Output Of The Photomicro Sensors Is Operating Properly?

The operation can be easily checked with the following procedure using a tester.

Output method and checking procedure		Determination procedure
NPN open-collector output	A resistor is inserted between and OUT, and the voltage between OUT and is measured using a tester. R: Approx. 4.7 kΩ, 1/2W	The control output is operating property it the measurement voltage changes to low and high by the lighting turning ON or OFF. (See note.)

NPN collector load built-in voltage output	The voltage between OUT and is measured using a tester. R: Approx. 4.7 kΩ, 1/2W
		Output transistor ON	L: 1 V max. (residual output voltage)

PNP open-collector output	A resistor is inserted between OUT and and the voltage between and OUT is measured using a tester. R: Approx. 4.7 kΩ, 1/2W
		Output transistor OFF	H: Power supply voltage

Note:This is a simple check that determines only whether the control output is malfunctioning.
