Calibrate For Execution Time Estimates In Sysmac Studio

Modified on Sun, 11 May, 2025 at 10:45 PM

Estimating task execution times is a useful tool to predict machine behaviour during project development.

Sysmac Studio provides a task execution time monitor to display the estimated average and maximum task execution time for both the execution of periodic tasks and for system services.

In order to increase the accuracy of the time estimation, a calibration must be performed on the CPU of the computer. This is a separate utility that must be run before execution time estimates can be accurately calculated. This utility can be launched from the Sysmac Studio Menu by selecting Simulation-Calibration. Perform this calibration procedure at least once after installing Sysmac Studio.

More information can be found in the Sysmac Studio Operation Manual (Cat. No. W504).
