Introduction
The NS HMI can communicate with JX and MX2 Inverters through a PLC using Modbus Master function. SAPs function with all modern controllers which are configured as Modbus master, over different NS-PLC connections: serial or Ethernet. PLCs currently supporting Modbus Master functionality are CP1E, CP1L, CP1H, CJ1+SCU, CJ2+SCU.
Example
Attached are some sample SAP files for JX, MX2 inverters in the files
SAP_Inverter_JX.zip and SAP_Inverter_MX2.zip respectively.
The example NS project files are included: _JX_2_.zip and _MX2_.zip.
For Monitor Console SAP for JX with display, keys, status and error messages, NS system version must be v8.2. For other parameter SAPs NS system version must be v6.2 or later.
How To Use
Unpack attached files and put *.nsl files (and additionally contained *.bmp for monitor console) into CX-Designer's library directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\OMRON\CX-One\CX-Designer\Library\SAP\SmartActiveParts_E\Inverter).

For this function to operate correctly the Routing Table in the PLC must be correctly set. |
