Why Is A Network Showing Red And Giving Me A Compile Error? CX-Programmer

Modified on Sun, 11 May, 2025 at 10:37 PM

A red stripe to the left of the network indicates that there is a syntax error in the program and that therefore it can not be compiled.

There may be various reasons, for example:
  • There is a vertical line drawn, which makes no connection with another inquiry.
  • An address with another line short-circuited.
  • One of the address commands is not constant or imported.
  • There are two networks within the same network.

In the example below  the programming seems good, but this construction will not be accepted. The horizontal line (see arrow) is seen as a short circuit. The dotted line shows the correct method.
